Terms of Service
Last updated: March 27, 2026
1. Agreement to Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a legally binding agreement between you and Oficio Go, Inc. governing access to and use of the Oficio Go website, applications, and related services (the "Service").
By creating an account or using the Service, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, are legally capable of entering a binding agreement, and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
If you use the Service on behalf of a business entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity, and "you" refers to both you and that entity.
2. Description of Service
Oficio Go operates a technology marketplace that connects individuals and entities seeking maintenance, repair, and improvement services ("Customers") with independent tradespeople and service professionals ("Professionals").
Oficio Go is a marketplace, not a service provider. We do not employ Professionals and do not perform, supervise, or control the services they provide, except as expressly described in any applicable guarantee program.
3. User Accounts
3.1 Registration
To use certain features, you must create an account with accurate, current, and complete information and keep that information updated.
3.2 Account security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for activities under your account. Notify us at support@oficiogo.com if you suspect unauthorized use.
3.3 Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, involve fraud or unlawful activity, or create safety or reputation risk for the platform community.
4. Customer Terms
4.1 Service requests
When you submit a request, you agree to provide an accurate and complete description of the issue, including relevant photos, videos, or supporting information where helpful.
4.2 Pricing and estimates
Displayed pricing may be estimated based on the information provided and similar jobs. When upfront pricing is offered, it applies to the described scope unless both parties agree to additional work.
4.3 Booking confirmation
A booking is confirmed when a Professional accepts the request and you receive confirmation through the Service. Oficio Go facilitates that agreement but is not itself a party to the service contract between Customer and Professional.
4.4 Property access and safety
You agree to provide safe and reasonable access to the work area and disclose any known hazards, restrictions, building rules, or other conditions relevant to the visit.
4.5 Your responsibilities
- Be present or ensure authorized access at the scheduled time, or agree on an alternative with the Professional
- Treat Professionals respectfully and provide a safe working environment
- Promptly inspect and confirm completion of work
- Report issues within the platform's stated time window when applicable
- Provide honest and accurate reviews
5. Professional Terms
5.1 Eligibility and verification
To register as a Professional, you must satisfy platform eligibility requirements and provide accurate information.
- Be at least 18 years old
- Hold valid trade licenses or certifications where required
- Maintain required insurance coverage where applicable
- Pass identity verification and screening processes
- Provide accurate business and tax information
5.2 Independent contractor status
Professionals are independent contractors, not employees or agents of Oficio Go. Nothing in these Terms creates an employment, partnership, joint venture, or agency relationship.
- You decide how and when to perform services
- You provide your own tools, equipment, materials, and transportation unless otherwise agreed
- You are responsible for legal compliance, permits, taxes, and insurance tied to your work
5.3 Service standards
- Perform work with professional skill, care, and diligence
- Arrive on time or communicate delays promptly through the platform
- Complete work as described and secure approval for material scope or price changes
- Leave the work area clean and follow applicable safety requirements
- Avoid soliciting off-platform work to bypass platform fees where prohibited
5.4 Reviews and ratings
Customers may leave reviews and ratings after service completion. We may limit or remove Professionals whose ratings, conduct, or substantiated complaints fall below platform standards.
6. Payments
6.1 Payment processing
Payments booked through the platform may be processed by Oficio Go or authorized third-party processors. Customers agree to pay the total amount shown during booking or completion, as applicable.
6.2 Service fees
Oficio Go may charge service fees or marketplace fees on transactions. Applicable fees are disclosed in the booking or payout flow.
6.3 Professional payouts
Professionals receive payment for completed services minus applicable fees, subject to payout method, schedule, fraud controls, dispute handling, and guarantee review.
6.4 Taxes
You are responsible for determining and fulfilling tax obligations arising from your use of the Service. Oficio Go does not provide tax advice.
7. Cancellations and Refunds
7.1 Customer cancellations
- Before Professional acceptance: cancellation is generally free and any collected payment may be refunded
- After acceptance: cancellation terms may depend on timing, stated policies, and any disclosed fees
- After work begins: the Customer remains responsible for work already completed plus any applicable fees
7.2 Professional cancellations
Professionals may cancel through the platform, but repeated cancellations or no-shows may affect visibility, account standing, or access to future work.
7.3 Refunds
Refunds are generally issued back to the original payment method, subject to processing times, dispute review, and any applicable guarantee or cancellation policy.
8. User Content
8.1 Your content
You may submit photos, videos, descriptions, ratings, reviews, and profile information. You retain ownership of your content, but you grant Oficio Go a license to use it to operate, improve, and promote the Service.

9. Prohibited Conduct
- Use the Service unlawfully or in violation of applicable law
- Impersonate any person or misrepresent affiliation

10.2 Limited license
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for its intended purposes, subject to these Terms.
11. Work Guarantee
Oficio Go may offer a limited work guarantee for eligible services booked and paid through the platform. Guarantee scope, claim timing, required documentation, and available resolutions are defined in the applicable guarantee policy in effect at the time of booking.
- Claims may require prompt submission through the platform

- Possible resolutions can include re-service, account credit, partial refund, or full refund when appropriate
12. Dispute Resolution
12.1 Between Customers and Professionals
In disputes about services, both parties agree to attempt resolution through the in-platform dispute process before escalating the matter elsewhere where permitted.
12.2 Between you and Oficio Go
Disputes between you and Oficio Go that cannot be resolved informally may be subject to binding arbitration, except where applicable law or platform policy provides otherwise.
12.3 Class action waiver
To the fullest extent allowed by law, dispute proceedings are conducted on an individual basis and not as a class, consolidated, or representative action.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Oficio Go is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service.
- Our total liability may be capped by the amount you paid to Oficio Go in the relevant lookback period or another minimum amount specified by law or policy
- We are not responsible for the conduct or services of independent Professionals except to the extent expressly stated in an applicable guarantee program
- We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory.
Oficio Go does not guarantee uninterrupted operation, error-free performance, or that any Professional will be available, qualified, or suitable for your exact needs.

16.1 Service modifications
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service at any time, with or without notice, subject to applicable law.
16.2 Terms modifications
We may update these Terms from time to time. When changes are material, we may provide notice through the Service or by email before they take effect.
17. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory local law requires otherwise.
18. General Provisions

If any provision is held unlawful, void, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect to the maximum extent permitted by law.
18.3 Waiver
Failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of that provision or any other right.
18.4 Assignment
